Brittani has been an associate with Burnham, Capon & Wimer, LLC since 2018, concentrating her practice in estate planning, primarily for high net-worth clients. She is dedicated to creating comprehensive, personalized estate plans that reflect each client’s wishes while addressing key objectives such as probate avoidance, estate tax minimization, and tax-efficient intergenerational transfers that provide asset protection for future generations.

Brittani also works closely with financial planners to coordinate the titling of assets and beneficiary designations, ensuring consistency with her clients’ overall planning objectives. She also plays a central role in the organization and management of our Firm’s estate planning team. overseeing each matter from the initial meeting through execution of the final documents.

Beyond estate planning, Brittani assists in the firm’s estate administration practice, guiding executors and families through the complexities of settling an estate with clarity and compassion.

Prior to joining our Firm, Brittani practiced personal injury litigation at a Hartford law firm. She lives in Colchester with her husband, Ian, and their three children, Tristan, Sutton and Fallon—and while they like to joke about having a live-in nanny (“Mimi”), most days they’re happily juggling life themselves.
