Honoring the Retirement of Our Partner, Anne Burnham
It is with deep respect and heartfelt appreciation that we mark the retirement of our colleague and friend, Anne Burnham, after a long and distinguished tenure as a partner at Burnham, Capon & Wimer, LLC.
Throughout her distinguished career in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and elder law, Anne established herself as a trusted advisor not only to her clients, but also to the many professionals—financial planners, accountants, and fiduciaries—who collaborated with her to help clients achieve thoughtful, well-integrated planning outcomes. Over more than twenty-five years in practice, Anne earned the respect and admiration of everyone who had the privilege of working with her. Her hallmark qualities—exceptional legal skill, measured judgment, compassion, and unwavering integrity—defined her approach to client service and to professional collaboration.
Anne’s immeasurable talent, partnership, and mentorship set a gold standard within our firm and among the professionals with whom she worked. Her wisdom, professionalism, and generosity of spirit helped shape the firm’s culture and contributed in countless ways to its enduring success. Those who were mentored by Anne or worked alongside her—whether as attorneys or as allied professionals in related disciplines—are undoubtedly better for the experience.
We are deeply grateful for the legacy Anne leaves behind: one of excellence, kindness, and collaboration. While she will be greatly missed in day-to-day practice, her influence will continue to guide and inspire our work for years to come. On behalf of everyone at Burnham, Capon & Wimer, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Anne and our deepest appreciation for her remarkable career and the many lives she touched.
Anne, your BCW family celebrates you and wishes you every happiness in your retirement.
